One of my favourite sayings is that ‘life is not a spectator sport’ and once you know me, you’ll see that I act on that sentiment each and every day. A passionate advocate of Taranaki and its breath-taking scenery, festivals and friendly people, I am an outdoor aficionado and love running and walking, Pilates, swimming, snorkelling and rafting when I have the opportunity.

I also make the most of New Plymouth’s vibrant arts and cafe scene.

When I’m not doing any of those, you can find me hiking – last year I walked the stunning Te Araroa section from Kerikeri to Auckland – or being a doting nanny to my granddaughters, revelling in their energy, joy and honesty. Being a Celebrant couldn’t be more ideal for me as I love meeting and working with people, am a confident professional with a cheeky sense of fun, plus I thrive on being creative and dressing up.

Supporting my local community has also always been incredibly important to me. I am a Justice of the Peace and I am on two Charitable Trust Boards. A Member of Celebrants Association of New Zealand (CANZ), I will complete my Diploma in Celebrancy from The Celebrants Training College by the end of 2017.
